Too Late Smart

Picked this book from the library "Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart" by Gordon Livingston. The subtitle is "30 True Things -You Need to Know Now". A good read.

Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart: Thirty True Things You Need to Know Now

What caught my attention initially were the titles to the 30 chapters. Here are some of them:

If the map doesn't agree with the ground, the map is wrong.

The perfect is the enemy of the good.

Life's two most important questions are "Why?" and "Why Not?" The trick is knowing which to ask.

Our greatest strengths are our greatest weaknesses.

Nobody likes to be told what to do.

Of all forms of courage, the ability to laugh is the most profoundly therapeutic.

What Gordon does in each chapter is share insights from his life and his experience of listening to people's stories as a psychiatrist.
